دعت منظمة Leadership Council for Human Rights داعمي حقوق الانسان في الولايات المتحدة وخاصة واشنطن الى مسيرة بالشموع الى البيت الأبيض على أن يتجمع النشطاء غدا الاثنين 10 ديسمبر 6 مساءا في حديقة لافايت يتوجهون بعدها الى البيت الأبيض

The Leadership Council for Human Rights will hold a candlelight vigil in Washington, D.C. on Human Rights Day to stand in solidarity with those struggling to obtain their rights, especially in Egypt. We will gather to call for the release of Ayman Nour and to recognize the plight of all who are denied fundamental freedoms in Egypt, including journalists, ethnic and religious minorities, civil society and human rights activists, and everyday citizens.

When: Monday, December 10^th, 2007, 6-8 p.m.

Where: Southeast Quadrant, Lafayette Park, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. (Closest Metro is McPherson Square Orange/Blue Line. Exit toward the White House. Park is one block from station.) We will convene in Lafayette Park and proceed to the White House.

Who: We welcome and encourage the attendance of all who care about human dignity and the protection of rights which belong equally to all humankind, and who share Ayman Nour’s goal of abolishing “all laws that limit freedom” in Egypt. Please bring a sign if possible. Candles and candleholders will be provided.
